The crack in the wall

What makes that crack : time , rain , earthquake,... or just animals ? Excellent shot because conditions of light are not so easy.

@bruno: Thank you :) It's an old ruin on an australian farm, so dry weather conditions over many, many years and probably some earth tremors too in that region.
