batbird

I've been entering this photo comp on Facebook for months now and have never got in the Hall of Fame, in other other words I have never placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd (I could probably place higher if I photoshopped heavily but we won't get onto that sore point :[ )
I don't enter every category and I don't enter every week, just when I feel like it. There was a topic called 'shadows' and at the last minute I skimmed quickly through my photos and entered this shot even though I thought the bird looked little blurry (though not as blurry as this I have to say, lately a lot of shots on this site look blurry to me) ...and lo and behold it won first place! mainly because the calibre of entries was'nt particularly high but still! I'll take it where I can get it :D
This seabird is drying his wings..photo taken at Tangalooma Resort, Moreton bay Island, Queensland, australia.
